The aim of the AfA is to improve the accuracy of property listings.
Singapore’s property industry and property portals have announced the formation of an Alliance for Action (AfA) on Accurate Property Listings.
The Singapore Estate Agents Organization, PropertyGuru and 99.co will co-lead the alliance, with PropNex, ERA, OrangeTee & Tie, Huttons Asia and SRI as members. The Estates Council will support the AfA as part of the Real Estate Industry Transformation Map.
“The AfA on Accurate Property Listings aims to provide a seamless, efficient and reliable property listings search experience for real estate consumers and their real estate agents. We are delighted that the various key players in the property industry are coming together and taking ownership to improve the real estate transaction process for real estate consumers and real estate agents,” said Executive Director Lim Chee Hwee.
The AfA aims to develop a prototype digital platform to perform authenticity checks on a listing of properties and assign a unique serial number to each property before it can be published on listing portals. The AfA plans to design and build the prototype by mid-2022.
