Jobs in the construction and real estate sector in April 2022: GlobalData

Total construction and real estate deals worth $33.1 billion announced globally for April 2022, Blackstone’s $12.8 billion private equity deal dollars with American Campus Communities being the industry’s largest investment, according to GlobalData’s deal database.

The value marked a 236.2% increase from the previous month of $9.83 billion and a 25.05% increase from the past 12-month average of $26.43 billion.

In terms of number of transactions, the sector saw an 18.33% decline with 196 transactions in April 2022 compared to the last 12-month average of 240 transactions.

In terms of value, North America led the activity with deals worth $22.15 billion in April 2022.
